Elphie and Ellie flashed out of the Ozdust ballroom and back to Kiamo Ko. She figured they were safe there for the moment. But what should they do? She figured Glinda would head back to the Emerald City - fortunately she, Ellie, Glinda, and Fiyero were all in posession of secret keys that opened doors that led to secret passageways that went from Kiamo Ko to the Emerald City, to the Governor's mansion in Munchkinland. Should they rejoin Glinda?
The Monkeys were standing guard. Time was of the essence. Come on Glinda! Time for your deplomiacy skills.

Ellie was rather shaken up. Elphaba had just... well for all intents and purposes kidnapped her in front of the entire Shiz population. But on the other hand, this is what she had wanted ever since school started - the chance to talk to her mother, to spend some time with her and set the record straight. But with the growing danger in Oz, what did this mean? She had always known she would have to make a choice between... well Elphaba and Glinda. Had that choice now been taken away from her? Had it ever really been possible? Would she now just spend the rest of her life in hiding with her mother and father? Was she, even as they stood there being dubbed a Wicked Witch herself? Or had her dissapearance only made them hate her mother all the more?

"Alright. I'm here. You two better be glad I learned that splitting spell! Because half of me is back at the Emerald City learning what your misfit friends have as a plan of action....and of course Dorothy Gale who just had to pop in at the exact moment I needed her not to!" Glinda looked dissheveled, tired, exhausted actually. That spell always took a lot out of her, but she couldn't be in just one place. She needed to be here to get the real information from Ellie and Elphie, but she couldn't leave the group.

"Dorothy Gale is here!" Cried Elphaba. "How did that happen. Ellie you have GOT to learn to control your powers!
Do you think... do you think they can be trusted Glinda?" Elphie asked. If they couldn't, well they needed to be delt with quickly. If they could... should they know... the truth about Ellie?

"Well I told them Ellie was safer here with you than they were. And that she was very powerful, and that you were only trying to help them. Why not, let's toss in some 'oh by the way, it's her daughter!'" Glinda was at her wits end. "Sorry." She regathered herself. "I don't know what to do. I thought I had time!"

If the two of you could openly come back....that group will believe anything I say, so they would know you were working for good if you came with me. And if you helped to Save Oz! Everyone would have to see you finally as good, wouldn't they?"

"I wouldn't worry about Dorothy. She's easily swayed. She doesn't hate you. She doesn't like you, but she even admitted she tried to save you. She's a child, and children are easy to persuade. Polly will follow me. Polly believes the general population, and me. So if I say I brought you to help, she'd be apprehensive, but she'd be alright with it."

"Now you know everything" she said. It looks like you're going to have to make your decision sooner than we thought. You can hide with me - you'll be safe. Glinda?"

Ellie thought for a moment too. She loved her mother very much, and she loved Glinda. Perhaps this is the thing that would unify them once and for all. "I'm in. But what should we tell them about my "kidnapping" - and my involvement."
