Poor baby. Most days I feel like the only single straight girl in the world.

Sorry. ^__^;; If it makes you feel any better, I went single for years before finding Chris. And yes, it sucked, but when you find the right person it's totally worth the wait.

Oh yes, I think my parents called it "crossing over" and that they didn't want me to go to hell for it. So that's why they didn't want me to! Ok, I'm a christian too, and I know that in the bible it says that homosexuality is wrong. I get that....but if you look up the original words it was written in, it really means an older man, and I think in that specific sense it was a priest, having relations with a young boy. which is a TOTAL different ball game! I just can't understand how any type of Love can be wrong. I mean, I think we need a little more love in this world in any form it comes in!
I have a pair of lez friends who just got engaged, and one of their dad's is a preacher. She came out to them about...a month before she and Jen got engaged. They knew, naturally, but they spent an hour praying for her soul.....how can love be wrong?

Eh, I don't worry about it too much. No one has the right to tell me what to believe... but that goes both ways. People can believe what they want... and sure, sometimes it can hurt. But as long as they don't use their beliefs in a hurtful way, and they're not doing anything to harm someone, then I don't worry too much about it.

I'm a Christian, but I'm not one of those shove it down your throat people. If you want to believe what I believe, that's great! If you don't, that's ok to. I'm not going to not be friends with you or not be able to carry on competent and non-violent convos with you just because you don't have the same belief system I do. On that same token, I don't necissarily believe all the same things that other 'christians' do. So, I'm a big fan of believe in what you think is right. Whatever your heart and conscience guide you to do is probably right for you.

Me too. =P I'm a relatively strong Christian, but like... I'm nice about it, lol. And I believe more in God being fair than in following the bible so strictly. It's kind of funny... I go to a pretty conservative Presbyterian church, but my youth leader is a total tree-hugging liberal. It's great. ;D So she was one of the first I came out to...

That's always so funny to me. I consider myself to be pretty liberal in some respects, and conservative in others. I'm just me, plain and simple!

Lol, that's the best way to be! =P Too many people try to be what they're not, in my opinion. My policy has always just been to be me, and if anyone has a problem with it then I don't want to spend time with them anyway.
