really? See, this proves that I haven't kept up well as I should. I knew Idina left London some time ago, but I never followed up to see who was after her. I used to know every time there was a change. I'm falling behind...  |

I did know about San Fran, and I figured Chicago would be gone before too long. But yeah...i'm behind. I stopped during my senior year of highschool. I got so busy! And then College got worse...

Nobody can ever beat Idina and Kristin. I mean, it's just...they are the characters. I've seen other good ones. Stephanie was a good Elphaba. I also saw Julia Murney as Elphaba. Both were good, not as good as I'm sure Idina was (but I never got to broadway to see her and Kristin....*tear*). I live in the deep south, so...i've only gotten to make 2 trips to NYC thus far, but give me three more years of school, and I will be there permenately. And Kendra Kassebaum was PRECIOUS as Glinda....but not Kristin.
I've watched a lot of the you tube things of them in the original. not as good as the real thing, but I love them so much.

I totally agree. If I had to pick good seconds it would be Stephanie and Julia. But no one beats Kristin and Idina! (Thought I did love Kristoffer Kusick as Fiyero!)

kerry's voice is amazing, i would kill to be able to sing half as well as she can, =D her riffs in defying gravity are amazing too, and she's really intense in no good deed. personally i love the london cast to bits, kerry ellis and oliver tompsett have this amazing chemistry that i haven't seen anywhere else. and as a side note, you know that sjb is technically the original elphaba? she was the elphie during the trial run, but she was replaced by idina because idina was more 'well known'. also, i sung with julia back in december, random tibit, but she was amazing! and she was so nice backstage too, =D
