Name: Dr. Allan Lipsin PhD - General History and Pre-Law studies of Oz.
Specied Human, Gillikinese
Birthdate: February 14, 1959
Age: 49
Year at Shiz/Year Graduated (if attended Shiz) Shiz Alumni, Professor of General Ozian History and Pre-Law studies of Oz.
Major/House at Shiz Emerald Tower Mentor.
Birthplace: Gillikin Country
Allegience Dr. Dillamond; avenging his death would have been his biggest goal, but Mombie is just as bad as Morrible.
Appearance: Dr. Lipsin is a mid-sized, older man. Though he almost has a full set of hair, his glasses with the golden lace around his neck seem to make him look a lot older than he really is. He usually wears dress pants, white shirt, with even suspenders. And his old duck shoes are unmissable. These shoes look like there were made on the worst day of the 50's, but he wears them proudly. He carries in his pocket, a golden pocket watch that seems to be as old as he is.
Picture: Working on it..
Sexual Orientation Straight. Whats wrong with young kids these days?
Background History: Dr. Lipsin was born to a Gilikinese family back in the late 50's. Born and raised in a middle class family, given everything that he needed, Lipsin was able to give the needed time to his passion of Literature and History. As a young boy, Lipsin was quite the student. Valedictorian of his high school, and Head Boy for a year while at Shiz. Yes there was no doubt that Lipsin had something going for him.
Lipsin lived for Shiz.. during his stay at Shiz, he was involved in many things such as HistoryLeets, Chess Club, L.A.S.T. (Law-Students Against Stupid Teachers; not exactly an APPROVED student organization, but hey, kids are kids..) and his personal favorite Student Government.
At Shiz is where he met the love of his life, Illie Mason, who died four years ago and who's cause of death is still unknown.
Now, Lipsin dedicates all of his time, to teaching the best he can to this new generation of students. Hoping to shape the young minds, and doing all he can to prevent what happened just five years ago.
Personality Traits/Flaws: Lipsin is not really much of a people person. He is more kept to himself, especially since Illie's death. Lipsin is more of a watcher. It's said that he is seen walking around campus parks just "observing", a bit more than just doing his job. As if it's an actual part of his everyday life.
Once you have broken the anti-social barrier, Lipsin is a very caring man with a very liberal attitude which has been forced shut due to fear. Lipsin lives for his students now that he has no one else to live for, and will even find himself working with a student one on one no matter what time of the day or what day of the week. He is, the Ideal Professor.
Intrests/Hobbies Bird Watching, History, Writing, Reading, Lecturing.
Likes Reading far fetched articles in newspapers (an old habit of his), and all of the above.
Dislikes Morrible, Mombie and her power trip, Mathematics.
Greatest Fear: Spiders, things that crawl... make his skin crawl.
Strengths Determination, Patience, Great knowledge over the history and laws of Oz, Passion for his work.
Weaknesses Any kind of chocolate (as opposed to the "cliche" apple), His wife, Math.
Best Memory Proposing to the love of his life and hearing the sweet "yes"that followed his lifting off the ground back on his two feet.
Worst Memory Arriving home to find that his wife laying there, helpless, petrified, unmoving. And there was no logical explanation for what happened.
Goals: Following Dr. Dillamond in his quest for Animal rights, bringing equality in the politics at Shiz University, and being the best professor he can be.
Writing Sample Allan arrived at the fancy Italian restaurant named "Little Munckindo" with nothing but sparkle in his eyes. He was nervous, very nervous. Illie, was the love of his life, and he wanted it to continue that way. He smoothly told the waiter at the front of the restaurant, "Two for Lipsin" he said. His voice was smooth, as if he was some important rich guy. Illie couldn't help but to smirk.
He moves the seat and offers it to Illie. "My dear," he says and points to the chair with the palm of his hand. "Pretty little restaurant isn't it hunny?" This was an understatement, and he knew it. This was the most expensive Italian place within a 200 mile radius. Only the best for THE best he thought to himself. "Yes, I like it so very much!" Illie said, having never had the chance to eat here before.
"Illie," Allan said as he was pouring the wine at a slanted angle, as if he had taken classes on wine-pouring. "Yes, love?" Illie replied, staring in his eyes the same way she always had, as if she were putting her entire soul in his hands. "We've been together for a year and a half now.." he said. "A MARVELOUS year and a half!" she interrupted and added. "Yes, yes." he smiled.
Allan stands and moves his chair aside, and goes to her side. "What are you...?" Allan stopped her as she started to ask a question. "Illie," he said. "I have everything I ever wanted, the job I always wanted, the degree, the house, everything... except you." he said. "Illie I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to be there, the rest of our lives to hold you, and love you as I have this last year and a half." he added. Illie knew at this point to allow him to finish, though she did have a big mouth of her own. "Illie.." he said while taking out a small box from his pocket. Illie couldn't believe it... it was finally happening! "Will you marry me?" Illie's eyes widened, sparkling as if they had just been washed, rinsed, and waxed. "YES! Ofcourse I will!" she screamed as he slid the ring on her finger. She got up and they embraced one another.
This was the start of the rest of Allan's perfect life. Finally complete with the love of his life.
