Appearance: Az is about average height for Gilikinese women at five feet and three inches tall. She has pale skin, wavy brown hair, and bright blue eyes. She also has a birthmark shaped kind of like an excaimation point on the back of her right shoulder.
Az typically wears dresses with full, knee length skirts in bright colors, but when she doesn't want to be seen, she dons a grey cloak to cover the bright clothes she wears underneath

Background History: Professor in Dillimond Tower. Bohemian socialite turned aid of the Wicked Witch of the West. Azkadelia was by total chance part of the popular crowd at Shiz (during the time of Elphaba and Glinda) where she was in Dillamond House. Though at first (like her friends) she teased Elphaba because of her green skin, after Az realized what was happening to the Animals she changed her opinion of the young rebel. When Elphaba became "wicked" Az took over the role of caring for Elphie's sister Nessarose. Az was not fooled by the "melting" ploy and ended up finding Elphaba and joining in her cause. Brave, loyal, and slightly eccentric Az has never quite gotten over her socialite upbringing and still wants a warm bed to go home to at night, no matter what. She's terrified of being captured, but her passion always wins out in the end.
Personality Traits/Flaws: Az is typically quick to join in with others regarding something she's new to. She adopts their opinions at first, but once she gets a feel for what she believes is right, Az firmly defends her beliefs.
Az is also very opinionated. She might keep her opinions to herself in order to prevent trouble at times, but you can bet she's screaming them in her head. It's hard to make her change her mind once she's decided something.
Finally, Az still has hints of her superficial Uplands childhood lingering in her personality. She tries not to judge people because of it, but sometimes she just can't help it. Az still follows all trends that she can in order to preserve her place in society.

Worst Memory The days she spent wallowing in her guilt once she realized that she was wrong to tease Elphaba. Her behavior had gone against almost everything she stood for. Az still tries to repay the debt she feels to Elphaba in every possible way (aiding her, caring for Nessa)
Goals: Az hopes to help sway the people of Oz to believe in Elphaba's message and in the fact that she was indeed good instead of wicked. If she can accomplish that she would not only better the country of Oz, but she would help make it possible for Elphaba and Fiyero to come out of hiding
Writing SampleAz dismissed her class and watched the students scurry out the door. Once they had all left, she opened the top drawer of her desk and took out a piece of stationary. She dipped her best quil in her inkwell and began to pen a response to Elphaba's last letter. "Dear Fae," she began. She used Elphaba's code name in order to prevent giving her away. Az continued writing. "All is well at Shiz, with the exception of one person as usual. I hope your efforts are going well." She continued writing for the next fifteen minutes of her free hour. Once she was pleased with her letter, Az added her customary closing: "Whatever you need, all you have to do is ask me. Yours, Azarine Ka..." Just before Az could write the final letters of her name, she heard the door open. She quickly covered her letter with an assignment that had been handed in during her last class. Once she had concealed all of her writing, Azarine looked towards the door for the first time as she composed herself. She smiled and said, "Why hello Madame Mombi. What brings you here? Nothing unpleasant I hope."
