1.) Help! I just arrived here and I don't know what to do!
Relax. Take a deep breath and go read the Rules and the Roleplaying Rules. After that, be sure to read the How to create a character thread and the Character Creation Rules.
2. Can I create more than one character?
Yes, you can. However, you must be active with all your characters. This is why most people who sign up will first be watched, to see how they play their character. If you want a second character you must inform Elphaba Thropp and mention it in your Character Registration. To create a second character you must sign up with that character. You can't play more than one character on one account.
3. What about my characters family? Can I play them on my own account or do I need a second one?
You can play for your family on your own account, unless they take up a big part of the roleplaying. Example: a Shiz student may play for his parents when they come to visit, but he/she can't play a sibling who also goes to Shiz.
4. Can I play for other characters? Or "Wicked" characters?
No. If you play for another character you wouldn't be roleplaying, but merely writing a fanfiction. You may never assume anything that involves another character before clearing it with said character. Yes, you may play Wicked Characters, but many of them are listed in the "Cannon Characters" section. You must make sure the character you want is available. See the Creating Your Character Board.
5. You rejected my character registration. What did I do wrong?
If your character registration is rejected the administrator will post a message, telling you what to do to get your character approved. Don't think that we don't like you or your character, but we want this community to have characters that could be real.
6. How do I get put into a house at Shiz?
You choose it. However, to make sure that not everyone wants Sorcery, we're making a limit on how many people get into that house. Once the spots for that house fill up, you must choose a different house for your character, or get on the waiting list. We will open up more spots as the other houses get filled. You must apply to be in the Sorcery house.
7. What about password protected boards? How will I gain entry?
Some will be handed out after your application is approved. Others you can get as a reward for winning a contest, or when you join a club. Others may randomly appear around the site. You may request a password for your residence. This does not always apply to dorms.
9. I don't understand the timeframe.
We can roleplay several days at once. If you want to have some sort of structure you can simply put "after Potions class" or "before the Quidditch match", so others will know if something important has happened before or after. School[In RP time] will start in September, and end in June. Roleplaying in the School will Officially Start on April. Until then, it's Summer Break. We try to keep it so that Two Weeks And A Half = One Month in RP Time
10. How do I upload a signature/avatar?
You can upload a picture at www.photobucket.com, as well as on other sites. If you want an image to show in your signature, you can simply past the url between [ img ] [ /img ] tags.
11. How do I get my own residence?
You can apply for a residence by PM-ing Elphaba Thropp. Simply put in the name of your house, a quote to use and, if desired, a password.
