Age: Uncertain. Technically to enter Shiz you have to be at least 18, but it is very possible that Ellie is much younger.

Appearance: Like a famous former Shiz student, Ellie has been described as having a tragically beautiful face. She is on the tall side (5'8'') and has a strong, but slightly willowy frame - as if she hasn't had quite enough to eat all growing up. She has long dark hair - very dark brunette, almost black, and warm, tan skin. Perhaps her most striking feature is her deep emerald eyes.
Ellie likes to dress in dark colors, mainly black, or deep green, when she's not in her Shiz uniform (she prefers the dark blue to white,) though Glinda has had some influence, and some style and color does seep into her look. She has a fierce stare and is a little intimidating.

Background History: For most of Oz, Ellie's history is shrouded in mystery. The common story is that she was raised at "Glinda The Good's Home For Orphaned Ozians" after being found by Glinda. Though Glinda was rarely at the orphanage, Ellie was her "special project". What nobody knows (except for Glinda, Ellie, Fiyero and Elphaba) is that Ellie is actually the child of Fiyero and Elphaba. When she was born a "normal color" Elphaba and Fiyero decided that they had to try and give Ellie the chance to have a normal life. They gave her to Glinda, so that she could be raised in a "normal environment", though she secretly goes back to visit her parents. Ellie loves her family very much, and understands why they did what they did, though she is slightly angry that she was raised in the way that she was, and wasn't able to be with her parents very much.
Ellie was always very smart, and takes after her mother in her sorcery ability. She is constantly in danger, for if anyone discovers her true history she would face the same fate as her mother. Her parents were never in the same place for very long, and were always struggling to create some sort of stable, but secret life for themselves. Ellie never knew where they were, or what they were doing.
Ellie is now a scholarship student at Shiz. She is excited about getting the opportunity to develop her talents, but is always aware that when she graduates she will either have to join her parents as a rebel of Oz, or join Glinda as a "Good" sorceress of Oz - which would mean she would have more power in Oz, and a public life, but would be severely limited in her relationship with her parents, and would never be able to outwardly speak about her true beliefs.
Personality Traits/Flaws: Ellie takes after her mother in more ways than one. She is outspoken, very smart, and unusually talented. She cares very much for those around her, but has always felt like an outsider, and is a little bit of a rebel. Her abilities have gotten her into trouble in the past, as has her propensity for speaking her mind. Because of Glinda's influence, she can fit into society a bit better than her mother did - she knows how to (if very slightly) accentuate her looks, and how to socialize when she needs to. However she would always prefer to be curled up with a book, or working on some sort of personal experiment.
Ellie can definately stand up to authority. She and Mombie already have a rather tense relationship. Ellie can also already read the Grimmerie - and she's already helped Glinda to start understanding it.
Although Ellie has a great affection for Glinda, she can't stand "silly ditzs". Glinda has a mind and a heart under all her frivolity, but she truly dislikes those who don't. She and Glinda probably wouldn't have gotten along had they been students at the same time. Ellie's tough on the outside, and vulnerable on the inside. She can be rather intimidating.
