"Polly is the daughter of the Rainbow King, and possibly the most popular girl in the Upper Uplands. She's known Angelique for forever, and they get along really well. They're both a little on the spoiled side, but have good hearts, and Polly's a tad too much of an..well...air head to take any drama too seriously. Polly is older than Angelique, and used to be best friends and roommates with Claire Heart (now Keats). Claire was Polly's only rival for popularity, but after the events of the past year, that all changed. “Kay is the daughter of the famous Glinda Upland, and Boq. Born as the result of a spell (complicated. Don't ask!) she is actually only a year old, yet appears about seventeen. She inherited her mothers looks, and natural popularity, and her father's bookishness, inquisitiveness, and directness. She is etherial, and whimsical, and the most popular student at Shiz without even trying. Her greatest sorrow however is the fact that she has NO magical ability. She is hoping that something akin to her mother's limited ability will develop, and dreams of entering Glinda Tower. She also feels shut out of the "Golden Duo" - this is especially enhanced because Claire was very close to Glinda, almost her adopted daughter...then Kay showed up, her ACTUAL daughter, and Claire felt like she had been replaced.

“Boq's story is well know in Oz. What is less commonly known is that after the "Gale incident" Boq became the head of the history department at Shiz - still just as obsessed with Glinda. Eventually Glinda and he reconnected and finally, after living without love for some years, Glinda returned his affection. He has since softened a bit, though he still has a dislike of Ellie who reminds him of Nessarose. He loves his daughter Kay (named for Ozma) very much (she was born the result of a spell - since Boq can not have children, Kay is the age she would have been had she been conceived before Boq became tin.) He admires the "popular trio" very much, still a little in awe of the popular circle he feels he will never be a part of. Though, married to Glinda, and an Ozian hero, he is certainly admired and respected.”

Ellie is wary of Georgiana. Recently Ellie has found herself becoming popular for no reason, and she feels very uncomfortable with it. She doesn't like shallowness or popularity for the wrong reasons, and she is nervous around those who do. She's not quite sure what she wants form Ellie, or what she thinks of her.

Elphaba's exploits are infamous. Recently reinstated as the GOOD Witch of the West, there are many who are still terrified, and distrustful of her. She now helps Glinda (the new Headmistress of Shiz) run the Sorcery department.
Elphaba knows Georgiana, and to be honest, she annoys her. She reminds her of the old, obnoxious Glinda.

» Kay Upland «
Kay is the daughter of the famous Glinda Upland, and Boq. Born as the result of a spell (complicated. Don't ask!) she is actually only a year old, yet appears about seventeen. She inherited her mothers looks, and natural popularity, and her father's bookishness, inquisitiveness, and directness. She is etherial, and whimsical, and the most popular student at Shiz without even trying. Her greatest sorrow however is the fact that she has NO magical ability. She is hoping that something akin to her mother's limited ability will develop, and dreams of entering Glinda Tower. She also feels shut out of the "Golden Duo" - this is especially enhanced because Claire was very close to Glinda, almost her adopted daughter...then Kay showed up, her ACTUAL daughter, and Claire felt like she had been replaced.
She has a very close bond with Polly and Georgiana - the "popular trio", and is looking forward (and studying hard) to one day take her mother's place as Good Witch of the North (hey, you don't need magical ability to hold that title...right?)

Princess Ozma was, until recently known as Kay Tip - Ozma's servant. Ozma was kidnapped by Mombie at the request of the former Wizard, and had her memory erased. She was forced to work as Mombie's servant, until her true identity was discovered by Ellie Baum, and the othe Ozian rebels. Kind, sweet, and a truly benevelent ruler, she is truly a little Princess, and rules Oz well.

Boq's story is well know in Oz. What is less commonly known is that after the "Gale incident" Boq became the head of the history department at Shiz - still just as obsessed with Glinda. Eventually Glinda and he reconnected and finally, after living without love for some years, Glinda returned his affection. He has since softened a bit, though he still has a dislike of Ellie who reminds him of Nessarose. He loves his daughter Kay (named for Ozma) very much (she was born the result of a spell - since Boq can not have children, Kay is the age she would have been had she been conceived before Boq became tin.) He admires the "popular trio" very much, still a little in awe of the popular circle he feels he will never be a part of. Though, married to Glinda, and an Ozian hero, he is certainly admired and respected.
