After Fiyero had successfully gotten Elphie home, with a bit of Glinda's magical help, she decided it was time to tell Boq. After all, he most of all needed to know his nightmares had come true. Her white heels clicked up the hall, stopping in front of his door, pale blue sundress swishing against the door as she lightly wrapped at it. Her usual bubbly demeanor couldn't manifest itself today. Sure, Nessa had been a good kid, confused and hurt, but overall good on the inside; but she'd turned into a monster with anger and jeaousy and power and greed. Ginda wasn't sure if that good glimmer still lived inside or if she was in fact fully wicked; but either way...it meant big trouble for she, her husband, and her daughter, not to mention her best friend and everyone else in Oz.

Boq could hear Glinda's approach. He swung open the door and twirled his wife around. "And how's my Princess today?" He asked, showing her to his desk, and a homemade picnic lunch.

The look on her face could have told the whole story without Glinda saying a word. "Boq...I think you need to sit down to hear this..." She didn't want to tell him. but it coming from anyone else just wouldn't be right. She took a deep breath and looked down at him, hesitating. "I was called to Oz today under...peculiar circumstances..." she bit her lip. Why did everything always have to go wrong? Couldn't they just be happy for once? "It seems Kay--Ozma--had been possessed for some time...by Nessa..." she grimaced inwardly awaiting his response.

"Nessa?" He said it on an inhale of breath, making it sound more like a gasp. "But...HOW... why?" He almost fell back into his chair, hinges squeaking. He watched as Glinda went to get the oil can.

She began to oil him, soothing him as much as she could, rubbing his arms gently. "I knew you wouldn't take this well." She shook her head. "Well, none of us did. We don't know how or why. We just know she used Ozma to say Taye was dead and Gayelette killed him. Then she left Ozma's body to kill Morrible. Now, she's in Gayelette. And we can only assume Gayelette is with Ian..." She held his hands tightly in her own. "It's very confusifying, and my heart has been a-flitter ever since we found out. I just fear she's coming for you...for me...for Kay! She would never accept that we were together..."

"Kay! Where IS Kay?" Boq asked frantically

"Don't worry she's with Tristan. They were supposed to go home together after the ball last night. Claire has already checked on both of them. She's not going to loose the one child she had left..." Glinda shook her head. "I trust the boy. He'll take care of her...at least for now...until we can figure out if other steps need to be taken..."

"Nessa will be after her, make no mistake. And I don't think she'll be too happy with you either" Boq said. "But if I know Nessa, she won't try to get rid of Kay, she'll see her as HER rightful child, and try to make her hers." Boq started shaking.

She held onto him tightly. "C'mon. It'll be ok," she said with that old-Glinda optomism. Would it be fine? She wasn't so sure. She was scared out of her wits, but she had to hold it together. Someone had to. Boq was practically falling apart at the joints. She couldn't too. She felt that all-too-familiar overwhelming need to right the wrongs and make him happy. She kissed his forehead, stroking his back with her hand. "It'll be alright, dear. It will. It has to."

"I don't trust her, Glinda! I don't know what she's capable of. And she doesn't know how to use magic - look at what she did to me..."

"I didn't say I trusted her either..." Ginda replied, sighing. "I'm just...trying to be optomistic. We have to keep an eye out at all times. I know that." she cupped his face in her hand. "I'll never forgive her for what she did to you, and if she lays one finger on my daughter, I'll kill her again."

"Too bad she's already dead" Boq said sarchastically. "Well, what should we do? Someone needs to find out why she's here...at least she doesn't have any magical abilities."

"we're not sure if she does or not. Since she's currently inhabiting Gayelette there's a chance she can control Gayelette's powers. True, she's limited and a novice, but she does have a good bit of natural ability.." Glinda sighed. "I'd like to get together with Elphaba and perform a memory spell on Ozma, to see if she can remember anything about the time Nessa was within her..anything that could hint as to why she's here. I know Elphie is worrying herself to death about this, and she may not be as good as usual, worrying because it's her sister. Nonetheless, we do have to get together and hopefully form some sort of strategy."

"I don't think either you, I, or Kay should be alone..."

"Me neither. Which is why I came to talk to you first. I know where Tristan's taken Kay to hide her, and we could go and join them...or even scope out a better place."
