Glinda sat nervously waiting for Ellie and Boq to arrive. She had told them both she'd like them to meet, but she didn't actually tell them that's why she invted them today. Her legs shook, her hands were tightly clasped together. She wore a simple lavendar day dress, trying not to look like she was trying to make an impression. This was about Boq and Ellie, not about her. If this was going to ever have a shot at working, they'd have to get along.

Boq walked in, took Glinda's hand and kissed it. "I'm sorry I'm late, my class ran over." At that, all the papers fell out of his bag - each exam was covered with questions about Glinda, and her reign.

"Are these them? I remember exams..." she picked one up, reading over the questions. Her eyes looked up to meet his. "You...you weren't kidding." she handed them to him, blushing and turning away.

"I'm...I'm sorry" it was a bit stockerish. "You're very important Miss Glinda."

"Well, to you I certainly appear to be..." she didn't know whether to be afraid or enthralled by the fact that he did in fact care so much. It was sweet that he focused his studies on her, in honor of her, but at the same time, it seemed a bit much.

Ellie came eagerly into the room. She had actually been anxious to meet Boq. She knew him of course, and had even been in one of his classes, but they had never really exchanged words. She knew about his history with her family, but she also knew how good he was as heart. "Good afternoon Glinda, Boq - it's an honor to get to officially meet you."

Glinda hugged her close. "Hello, Ellie dear. Are you well today?" she smiled. "Let me formally introduce you. Boq, this is Ellie, my almost daughter.." she gave her a little sideways glance, smiling. She did think of Ellie as hers. It was just as she'd said, they'd all 'shared' her, that beautiful little girl that no one could believe came from a 'wicked' green woman and a scarecrow...

Glinda was slightly confusd. Ellie had taken his class? Surely he had realized that. Why hadn't he mentioned it before?
"Let's all sit..." she smiled, offering them each one of the three seats, and sitting herself after they were both seated.

Boq wouldn't look at Ellie directly in the face. "Nice to see you again Miss Tigalar" - he was one of the only people who called her that - Baum had kind of stuck. Boq maybe wanted to remind Glinda that Fiyero had chosen another - he wasn't worthy of her. "Yes, good student. Passion for history. You're a part of it yourself now, aren't you? Even made the new Royal Historian."

Glinda beamed. "Yes, she's done quite well for herself." Glinda didn't pay much mind to Boq's words, it was his tone she didn't like. He was here, trying though. That showed his devotion to her.

Oh good! They were making small talk. That had to be a step in the right direction. She smiled at him,as if to say she was proud of him.

"I think they're going well. It's a difficult Governership, the Munchkins, as you know were so hurt by the previous Governer. And it doesn't help that I seem to bear a striking resemblance to Nessarose Thropp. I'm thinking about annulling her decision to succeed from the state of Oz and become an independant province. Honestly, I don't blame her doing it under the Wizard's rule, but now that Ozma is back...it would also reassure everyone that I'm not there to strip the Munchkins of their rights.
I know you probably have no desire to go back, or even think about Munchkinland after what happened. But I would love any suggestions you might have. Nessarose was a much better ruler then some give her credit for, but her Munchkin rights acts were innappropriate in the extreme."

'Oh Ellie..' Glinda though, 'if you only knew.' She wasn't sure if asking him for his advice and saying she'd like to return it to Ozma was a good or a bad thing in Boq's eyes. She wasn't sure if anything was good in Boq's eyes except her. She looked a litttle sadly at Ellie, scared for what Boq miight blow back at her.
