"Old family name...four generations back. I just liked the ring to it." Kay climbed out of her lap and into Boq's beating her tiny hands against his metal chest, making a clunking sound. Her head thingyed at the sound, and she stopped. Then she pounded again and laughed at the sound.

She nodded. "Especially when they find out she won't be so little for so long..." She wodered how her 'adopted' daughters would take to the news. Ellie was of course happy for her, but what would she think about having this 'sister' her own age? Who aged rapidly...who aged at all...
