"Perfect," Az replied as she settled into a seat.

Angelique made her way into the building, looking around at the rather gloomy looking place. She had been invited by Elphaba, but to be honest, she wasn't sure why she was here. Glancing at her surroundings, she paused in the middle of the entrance hall, unsure of where to go. Shoudl she just wander around until somebody came to direct her to the right room? Deciding that it would probably be the safest course of action, Angelique turned towards the chairs. Just as she was about to sit down, she heard a door open and the sound of voices drifting down the stairs before a rather soft thud was heard. Standing up, Angelique made her way up the stairs and began heading towards the direction of the voices. Before she knew it, she was standing outside of a door, and hearing the voices of many people within, she bit her lower lip. This was the place alright. Smoothing out her clothing, she quickly ran her fingers through her hair before knocking on the door and pushing it open. Stepping inside, she shut the door behind her before turning to see who else was there.

"Professor Keats" Polly said, distracted for a moment from hearing her name, "I...I always thought...we'll, I always thought you hated Miss Elphaba..."
When she saw Angelique she gave a little start. What was she doing here? They all had a, well, history. For better or worse they knew what was going on. They knew each other. Polly was a dear friend of Angelique's but when it came to politics, well, Polly wasn't sure she was the best person to have around.

"Well then, I've been doing my job well haven't I?" Az smiled at Polly. It was true, Polly had never been let in on the secret of Az's true allegience to Elphaba. It had been one secret that Az made sure was kept as well as possible. To be fair, if everyone knew of her loyalties, she wouldn't make a very good spy.

Polly looked down, ashamed. She knew what she had done last year. What must Az think of her? She made up her mind to speak to her in private later.

"Well almost everyone is here...except Ellie...and...my husband..." Claire looked a little nervous saying it out loud. Where was Taye? Was Ozma really keeping him that long? Had he done the foolish thing she feared he would and struck out after Gayelette alone? Surely not! "Nonetheless, he can catch up. I welcome you all to my..." she looked around, it seemed strange to call it her 'home' because, truly, it wasn't much of a home anymore. It didn't hold the life, the sounds of children's laughter, the bright sunight beaming in through the open windows, and kisses, hugs, and happiness of days long gone, "...home..."
She took a deep breath. "Most of you, if not all of you, know we are here under grim circumstance. It appears Nessarose Thropp has somehow resurrected, in one form or another, from death. As far as we are aware, she is currently inhabiting the body of my dughter, Gayelette Keats, who had been wrongly imprisone for the 'death' of her father, my husband, Taye Keats. As was made very publicly clear at the gala the other night, he is not in fact dead but was merely missing for some odd months, being kept away by Princess Ozma under the power of Nessa." She looked to see if anyone looked completely behind on this rehash. Seeing no one faint, she continued. "As far as we are aware Gayelette is currently in the Nome Kingdom with past-shiz student and once friend, Ian Tibbit. We know that since Ian became a warlock is much more powerful than he once was. That being the case, we need to know specifics of his life, power, and routine, which is why Elphaba aske Az to befriend him, leading him to believe he would once again have an in at Shiz. However," she took a sip of her tea, "that is not the end. We need to figure out what other steps should be taken should Nessa change bodies, how we would find such a thing out, if Ian knows that Nessa is withing Gayelette, and how to get Gayelette back safely and keep all of us, as well as the rest of Oz safe in the process. Suggestions?" she met the eyes of each guest, hoping for someone to pipe up with briliance.

Ellie burst in. She wasn't at all herself. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, things in Munchkinland...." She sat down next to Glinda and put her head on her shoulder. "I'm sorry, I keep...feeling her. At least I think I do...like she's following me..."

She stroked her hair. "It's alright, dear. It may be nothing more than your nerves. I'm not sure she can be two places at once....then again, I wasn't sure she could be dead and alive, either..."

Polly got herself back together. "What...what do you want me to do?"

Az quickly stood and went to Ellie. She couldn't stand seeing the girl upset. Ellie and the rest of her family were highly important to Azarine. Also, the second part of Az's task was to keep an eye on her. Despite the fact that Elphaba and Fiyero were both present, Az still felt that she had to be there to comfort her; it was like an instinct.

Angelique entered and sat down on one of the chairs. Seeing Polly's expression, Angelique narrowed her eyes. What was with Polly? What was with the face that she had made when she had walked in? Did she not want Angelique here? And if so, why? Turning away, she made up her mind to figure that out later, once this meeting was over. Leaning back, Angelique listened to Claire speak. Furrowing her eye brows, she thought for a moment before looking back up. How about setting up a phrase and an answer? Only the people in the room would know of the set phrase and answer, right?" she said, pausing for some air. "The phrase would be something that wouldn't seem out of the ordinary, yet something that we could all remember. If one of us becomes possessed by Nessarose, she obviously wouldn't know it and she would reply with something else, which would allow us to figure out who was being possessed." she concluded, shrugging her shoulders.

Elphaba was unsure about Angelique being there as well. "Unfortuanately I don't think that can be trusted. I don't know much about dark magic - but I wouldn't be suprised if the person or spirit posessing you gains access to your memories..."

Angelique paused at Elphaba's comment. "Well, if somebody was being possessed, it would involve two spirits, would it not?" she asked, looking at the older woman. "That would mean two different minds co-existing in one body. The stronger spirit would have control over the physical being, but it wouldn't make sense if the memories were actually accessible by the intruding spirit." she added, thinking. "Spirits cannot enter one another, correct? And each spirit has their own mind, which is how Nessarose is doing what she is doing. I don't think memories or any information, for that matter, can be accessed by others, even if they are possessing you." she concluded.

"I don't know if I'm that strong Angelique" Polly said. "Besides, didn't Nessa use Ozma's knowledge of sending Taye on a mission?"

"She did, but it's still worth a shot. If she entered someone who was determined to get that message across, reguardless of whatever else was going on...it might work. Though Ozma has no recollection of the time with Nessa inside her, being aware that a spirit is roaming would make all of us more aware. If we stay completely aware of ourselves and any changes we feel...maybe..." Claire was trying not to completely discount the girl. She had a valid point, but there were so many extenuating circumstances. Still, if it could be accomplished, it was worth a try. "So then, what shall it be?"
