Allegiance Kye is for himself – at least right now. At heart he cares for truth and honor, but right now he’s just trying to slide by, dancing through life. He’s still a bit wary of Elphaba, though he holds allegiance to the official ruler or Oz, and if Ozma say’s she’s ok, well…she’s probably all right by him. He is a fan of Glinda. Lets just say, he’s smarter than he lets on, and knows people can become dark very quickly. He has heard quite a bit from his sister Claire, and trusts her opinion – though he has been away from her for some time. Kye’s not quite comfortable paying “homage” to his sister as Good Witch of the South, and tends to disregard her title. Unlike her - at least how she was until recently, Kye is the political one in the family, and cares very much about the politics of Oz.
Appearance: Kye has won “handsomest Ozian” at every school, public event, and social gathering he’s been to. Tall, and well toned with a permanent mischievous glint in his eye, he brings to mind his relative Turtle Heart – the famous Quaddling glassblower. Never has a student caused such a commotion on campus since Fiyero Tiggalar.
Kye is about 5’11’’ with slightly messy dark blonde (or light brown) hair. Although he has a bit of a reputation as a slacker, he always looks well put together.

Background History: Kye was born in the Upper Uplands to the wealthy, and influential Heart family. His younger sister Claire was born almost exactly one year later – and the two grew up more as peers than older brother, younger sister (though Kye does take on the older brother role in tough situations, and when teasing Claire.) His younger siblings are now 15, 12, and 8: Mima, Daniel, and Leila
Growing up with everything made Kay honestly, a bit bored, and he dealt with it by becoming a slightly manipulative, very incorrigible young man. Kye has learned that he can get away with almost anything, and loves to put it to the test. If he used his brain for good (instead of bad) he would be one of the leading minds, and powers in all of Oz. He has always reveled in his outward attractiveness and became quite a lady’s man.
Deep down, however, Kye is frustrated with his life, and feels that there must be something more, something more important to live for. He is a truly kind, brave person – if only he wouldn’t be afraid of showing it. Similarly to Claire, his blasé, c o c k y attitude is something of a cover up for being afraid he doesn’t really amount to much at all.
Kye was passed from school to school – his parents favored boarding schools, but Kye would always find a way back to the party life at the Emerald City. He tries to stay out of politics, mainly because he doesn’t want to be in a position where he is forced to rise to the occasion, and be the person he truly is inside. Finally, he enrolled in Shiz University, majoring in creative politification at Emerald Tower. Hey – if he’s such a good manipulator, why not learn how others have used similar skills to their advantage. But deep down, he chose this major to learn the truth behind Ozian history, and hopefully, one day, be a part of setting it right.
Personality Traits/Flaws: Kye is georgous, c o c k y, intelligent, sensitive, determined, and carefree. Which of those are flaws, and which aren’t? Well…that depends…
Intrests/Hobbies Dancing, partying, reading, scheming, doing something dangerous.
Likes Kye finds himself attracted to things which are unusual. He is actually a big supporter of Animal rights, though he does get easily annoyed by nerdy Munchkins. Loves his sisters.
Dislikes Pain and suffering. Parents who don’t pay attention to their children.
Greatest Fear: Being worthless
Strengths Intelligence, steadfastness, courage, almost to the point of stupidity.
Weaknesses When he falls in love, truly…watch out!
