"Yeah, she hasn't had much luck so far."
"By the way, "Wickedness" aside, thank you for saying that I look like Nessarose. I hear she was quite pretty. I'd like to think that my mother was pretty..."

There was a gentle knock on the bedroom door. Glinda stood behind it in a pink suit and her travel shoes. Of course, travel was much simpler now that she could simply wink herself wherever she wanted.

Ellie always preferred when Glinda arrived by bubble. It was so... swankified. But in this case she was SO happy that Glinda was there. "Glinda!" she called! And ran into her arms. She suddenly felt... somehow... nistalgic. This was the same room Glinda had shared with her mother...

Ellie was a bit disoriented. She had just been back in the orphanage. Claire had left to go to an orientation meeting for a bit, and Ellie had used the opportunity to... well, run home. She hoped she could clear some things up, now that Glinda was there.

Claire nearly fainted seeing the sight of the two. She'd never even been that close with her own mother. Now her idol was standing before her for the first time, embracing her roommate like a duaghter. She couldn't move.

"Um... Claire... this is Glinda. She pratically raised me at the orphanage. Glinda, this is my roomate Claire."

Glinda held her close, stroking her hair lovingly. Sometimes she did wish she were her own child, but it was almost just as good having her best friends child to care for. She wished Ellie felt comfortable in her new atmosphere, but she was going to make sure she did before leaving her once more

She stepped away and smiled at Cliare, extending a hand. "Nice to meet you Claire."

She extended her own hand and shook Glindas. 'i'm touching her' she thought, stunned. "I'm Claire, and it is my pleasure and honor to meet you...." Her eyes seemed to not be able to stay inside her head.

"Well the pleasure is mine. Ellie tells me you're a fan." she smiled. she was used to adoration, but she was afraid this girl might actually faint on her. "My goodness, look at this room." Glinda walked past the two girls. "Ellie we'll have to get you a few more things, Claire is doing you up."

"I have been dreaming of the day I'd meet you my entire life" Claire slapped her hand over her mouth. That sounded a little obsessed, which she was, but it wasn't something you were supposed to say.

"Oh, that's all right Glinda. I don't need much." Ellie said. And it was true. She wanted an intervention. Not a make over. Glinda had always told her to be herself, in between bouts of popularity lessons...

Glinda smiled. "Well, here I am. I'm happy you're rooming with Ellie. You seem like a sweet girl. You know...I knew your parents, actually. We had some dealings in the Emerald city." She looked around the room, her heart filling up with memories. This had been their room, and here stood Elphaba's daughter and a girl who looked so much like her standing in the very same place.

Please say something about Nessa and Elphie Ellie thought! She wanted Glinda to quell Claires' suspesions.
Secretly though, she wondered if she and Claire might end up having a friendship something like that of her mother and Glinda...
If only she wern't so star struck!
