Just as Claire disappeared another bubble floated into the room. There were two notes inside. One, a copy of Mombie's note. The other, a personal one from Glinda.
Elphie,
Yorq Yiggle, Ian and I have reason to believe, is the Nome King. He says he was a servant for your father and sister. I wanted to check and make sure you'd never heard the name. I never have. But the way Mombie has entrusted him with everything I can't think of a better possibility. And i'm sure after reading the other note you'll know this makes everything even more difficult. Ellie must have found out something very threatening for them to go to such great leaps. I fear for her, Elphie. If they're taking such drastic measures against us, I can only imagine what they're doing to Ellie where there is no one there to look at them.

Elphie quickly scrawled another note. This one had to be cryptic - after all, she couldn't send hers by bubble...
"I think it's time for a relocation...

You've had so many friends...maybe it's time to use them"

Glinda read the letter and hoped she understood what it meant, quickly dissolving it so there was no trace of it. "Well, Kay, I'm sorry to take you away again, but I have to..." So off toward the orphanage she went.
