"Wait" Ellie said. She ran out of the room and returned a moment later with her mother's crystal ball. Elphaba had seen her take it, and had nodded her approval. Ellie brought it back, and placed it in between her and her father. "I want Claire here too" she said. She waived her arms, and Claire was there. "I'm sorry sweetie, I didn't want to summon you like that, but I need you here with me." She waived her arms and began changing, closing her eyes, willing the spell to work. She didn't trust the Grimmerie on this, but she hoped maybe her own powers would be enough. When she opened her eyes she was at Shiz. Actually THERE! and her father and Claire were too. They were surrounded by Shiz students - the uniforms sure hadn't changed much since her parents were students there. She saw a handsome Winki boy arrive, could that be...could that be her FATHER? She watched him be snotty to her mother, and her mother fight back. Then Boq and Glinda - it was GAlnda then, wasn't it, and the journey down to the Ozdust - she was right there in the middle of things. Claire looked so much like Galinda! She was popular even in this time. She joined in the dancing. Finally, Ellie did too. Once she could have sworn Fiyero's eye caught hers. Later in the evening, after Galinda and her mother had made up, she saw Elphaba call "Nessa!" and look in her direction, then, embarassed that she had called the wrong person, she quickly walked away.
