Alarm

[Elphaba Thropp]

"What?" Said Elphaba, in a state of shock. "But... she still looks like herself not...like her father."

[Glinda Upland]

"You altered it. She can be hurt..but not killed..." she laid a hand on Ellie, closing her eyes. "I'm sorry, but I know--" she stabbed her wand into her. While her eyes were closed she'd whispered a numbing spell so that Ellie would barely feel a pinch. But she had to prove it.

[Elphaba Thropp]

Elphaba jumped up, livid with rage. "Take your hands off my daughter!" She pulled Glinda off of Ellie horrified.

[Glinda Upland]

"Look!" she pointed, as the wounds began to heal themselves. "She's not dead. She's alive. She's immortal."

[Ellie Baum]

Ellie sat there, blood pouring out of her stomach, gasping. She didn't feel much, however. It was somehow...ok. She pulled Glinda's wand out of her stomach, and she was completely ... fine. She looked up at her mother, and then Glinda.

[Glinda Upland]

"i told you both! Look!"

[Elphaba Thropp]

"That was a pretty risky thing you just did Glinda." Elphaba said glaring at her. She rushed over to Ellie - she was apparently fine... "What in Oz happened Glinda?" She said with sadness in her voice. "And what have I done with my daughter?"

[Glinda Upland]

"Well if it was just the way it was...you could be out in the open and we'd all be ok." she shook her head. "I need...I mean I was...I mean...Nessa stole my daughter. I had one shot in my whole life to have a daughter. I'm nearly forty and in love with a man made of tin. You gave me a beautiful gift...you went back and got a piece of Boq's hair. You gave me a baby...I carried her...it was faulty somehow, sped up because of the timing. I was only pregnant a very brief time, and she grew so fast. Then she was grown, and Claire's little girl cast a spell on herself and her brother. They were the same age, all three of them....

"She just...was misguided and a lot happened. She was possessed by Nessa and....cast a spell on my Kay...made her Nessa's. I just wanted her back..." tears were streaming. "I just wanted my baby back. She was the only shot I was ever going to get and I loved her. And she was taken from me. So I picked up the Grimmerie and read an 'undo' spell. It just undid too much.."

[Elphaba Thropp]

"I told you you needed to learn how to read the Grimmerie, practice with it every day. Oh Glinda..."

[Ellie Baum]

Ellie looked up at Glinda with tears in her eyes. "Wasn't...I enough for you?" Ellie said. Glinda, her surrogate mother just stabbed her to prove her point. To get her supposed magical daughter back.

[Glinda Upland]

"I wasn't thinking! I was so angry, so sad!" she bit her lip until it bled. "what would you do for Ellie? Anything! She can't die! It's proof you'd do anything!"

She looked at Ellie. "Oh Ellie. I'm so sorry. That's not it at all. I was so in love, and...you'll have a child one day. You'll understand. I'd do anything for you, too. But I know...I knew..."

[Ellie Baum]

"I don't belong to anyone, and I never will" said Ellie. "Stuck between two worlds." She said quietly, thinking of how to make a safe, quiet exit.

[Glinda Upland]

"Ellie!" she cried, burrying her head in her hands. "I can't do anything right...and now i'm completely alone. I lost everything for everyone...great job, Glinda."

[Elphaba Thropp]

"You belong to me Ellie... to US. And you always will. Will figure the rest out later. And from what Glinda says it doesn't sound too bad." She said, embracing Ellie and holding her to her.

A thought crossed Elphaba's mind... "Glinda... you said Nessarose, was BACK? That's...not possible.
I need you to tell me everything that happened from Ellie's first day at Shiz on, in as much detail as you can."

Glinda proceeded to tell her everything she could remember ((for refrence "Glinda's Memories")). "And then I woke up this morning and went to see Boq...but he didn't know me..."
