"Mombie is the headmistress of Shiz who took over after Madame Morrible. However, she seems to be disposed to the same power-hungry tendancies that Madame Morrible had, the reason of course why Mombie was imprisoned. As of late, Mombie has leaned toward Wickedness instead of Goodness, and I cannot trust her to turn back to good in this time or hardship when I have noticed her recently."

"Mombi is absolutely horrid," Kay said quietly. "We certainly shouldn't go to her for help."

Well, she wasn't going to go that far, but it was true. "Thank you, Kay. We're not. And you're safe here. I won't let Mombie come back after you. She'll have too much to worry with now to come back after you." She looked out across the table. "Well group, that's one idea. How about another?"

"Are there any other good witches who could help us?"

"Actually Dorothy...there is..." Suddenly Elphaba and Ellie came in the room in a flurry of pink light. "Fellow Ozians, do not be afraid. The so called 'wicked' witch of the west is not wicked at all. She's my friend." She looked back at Elphie for a moment. "Do not be afraid, please. She was foced into hiding by the evil madame morrible and the not so wonderful wizard of oz. She was never bad, only misunderstood. And this is her daughter, Ellie, who...is also a good witch, just like her best friend, Claire." She lifted her hand to Claire Heart.
"Elphaba and Ellie will be of greatest help to all of us, but you must trust me..and them. I know it will not be easy, but it is for the good of all Oz."

"Ellie!" Claire flew up out of her seat and embraced her. "I knew there was something..." She smiled, then looked at Elphaba. "And I know that wasn't a dream! I told you that I didn't think you were wicked..." She hugged her tight again. "I'm just glad you're ok."

Taye stared, shocked. Ellie, and... the Witch! He suddenly began to laugh.
"I knew it! I knew the stories were true!"
He stood up, walking over to Ellie.
"Ellie... I'm so glad you're okay. I was afraid you wouldn't be, but at the same time... it just didn't add up." He looked up at the Witch... no, Elphaba... and gave a small bow. "It's an honor to meet you, Miss Elphaba." He looked over at Ellie and smiled. She was Elphaba's daughter of all people? He knew there was something different about her... he just didn't think it'd be something so big. But if Glinda vouched for Elphaba personally, then... he had to trust her. He did trust her.

Ellie stood there in shock. Could this be true? Is this really the way they would react! It was better than all her wildest dreams.
"Just call me Ellie Tigalar" Ellie said with a slight smile. "Look, I'm sorry, but it's the truth. All my mother and I ever wanted was to make good - and sometimes good deeds are punished. So, whatever you may think of me, I'm going to keep trying to do good - even if others want to twist it. At least... at least you'll be safe."

Kay stifled a scream of terror as the Wicked Witch of the West appeared in the room. Her first instinct was to flee... but something stopped her. As Glinda introduced them, Kay gasped in disbelief. The Wicked Witch of the West was... good? How was that possible? She looked from Glinda to the Witch. Everyone knew that the Wicked Witch was evil, but... if Glinda said that she was really good, her friend even... then didn't she have no choice but to believe her?
"M...Miss Ellie? Are you okay?" she said timidly. Ellie was here as well, safe and sound. The witch hadn't hurt her... was that more proof towards her goodness? This was all too much for Kay to take in. Everything she had ever known about the Wizard and the Wicked Witch was suddenly turned on its head...
But surely Glinda the Good wouldn't lie. If Glinda trusted the Witch... Kay would have to trust her as well.

Ellie went over to Kay and took her in her arms. "It's ok Kay. She's not wicked. I'm sure Glinda will explain everything - make it clear that things wern't what they seemed. But... I'm her daughter. The daughter of her and...." Ellie almost said The Scarecrow - but her father's anonimity was still of vital importance. "and... Fiyero Tigalar. And you know he was never wicked."
Ellie turned back to Claire. "There's more Claire. Your relative...Turtle Heart was actually the father of my aunt Nessarose. We're cousins.
And..." she said to clinch the deal, "The Wonderful Wizard was my mother's true father."

"Wait, what?" Taye said, surprised. This was all news to him. "You mean... the Fiyero Tigalar is your father? And the Wizard is your... your grandfather?" Not to mention the stuff about Claire. Talk about a confusifying family tree. Taye shook his head. "Well, in any case... we can't sit around doing nothing. What are we going to now?"

Elphaba approached the group. "Thank you for your faith and trust," she said. "I'm sure you will hear much rumor and speculation, but be assured that I have nothing but the best intentions for Oz. I'm sure you can understand that it would have taken something very serious for me to defy the Wizard - and keep in mind that it was Morrible who first slandered my name, and we all know the truth about her."
Elphaba approached Dorothy. "I forgive you Dorothy. It wasn't your fault. You were a pawn in Morrible's plans... and in mine I'm afraid. I had to resort to certain... tactics to survive."

Dorothy was filled with terror at the site of the Wicked Witch. But she spoke so gently - not at all like last time. She... didn't know what to say. What was her role going to be this time?

Claire screamed with excitement. "We're cousins!?!" Claire couldn't stand herself. "Wait...whoa...I got excited, but did you say 'tigalar' like 'fiyero tigalar'? You're? You're not!"

"I am." Ellie said. As far as they knew Fiyero died a long time ago. She wasn't quite sure how to proceed. How would they feel when the going got tough?
