Gayelette regained herself, and looked strangely at Kay. "Who are you talking to? Glinda's not here!" she obviously had no idea what happened or what was said around her whenever Nessarose took hold.

"Chill out!" Gayelette screamed back. "Your mom is NOT Nessarose, and I don't know why you're screaming at me! Wait..." she touched her hair, now dark and wavy like her own. "What happened to you?"

"I'd like to see you try!" Cried Kay, very different from her old self. "Why is everyone saying my mother is Glinda? And how DARE you say my mother is dead!" said Kay, breaking into sobs again...

Kay saw the look in Gaylette's eyes - as if something was wrong. She kept looking at her hair...

Skylar hesitated, glancing from Gayelette to Kay to Azarine.
"Gayelette, you... you really don't remember?" he asked hesitantly. This was going to be difficult... he hoped that Gayelette wouldn't completely freak out.
"We... we all heard Nessarose talking through you. I think you might be possessed... and I think Nessarose might have cast a spell using your magic to make Kay her daughter instead of Glinda's." He braced himself, waiting for Gayelette's reaction.
